After the success of their 2011 show The Full Monty, SAMS are excited about taking to the stage with this traditional, award-winning, childhood favourite. This stage adaptation of Dickens’ timeless classic follows the story of orphan Oliver after he infamously dare ask for more at the orphanage – an undulating array of luck and loss ensues after a chance meet with the Artful Dodger introduces him to a world of corruption at the hands of Fagin and Sykes. Lionel Bart’s musical accompaniment is what makes this show so memorable with favourites including ‘Food Glorious Food’, ‘Consider Yourself’, ‘I’d do Anything’, ‘Fine Life’, ‘You’ve Got to Pick a Pocket or Two’, ‘Oompah-Pah’, ‘Where is Love’, ‘As Long As He Needs Me’ and many more.
